Wellspring Congregation is Opening Their Doors!
Blue Ridge District's latest congregational formation, Wellspring, is having their first in-person worship service on June 27! This congregation has been in the works for a few years, led by Rev. Ashley Crowder Stanley. After a year of streaming services, they are excited to finally open their doors and say with gusto, "Welcome to Wellspring!"

Intentionally focused on creating an inclusive space for all to worship and grow in faith, "We can love alike even though we will not always be alike" stands as a central theme to their mission.

What have they been up to lately?
Transforming the space formerly home to 12 Bones on Sweeten Creek Rd in Arden! But more than that, they have already created a strong community within their ever-growing congregation. Early June held an all-hands-in volunteer workday, inviting members and friends to be a part of the renovations. Also fostering the bond between members are Tuesday night "Sermon Talk Backs"- fun and engaging ZOOM gatherings discussing the previous Sunday's sermon.

Wellspring will hold 4 pm summer services on the fourth Sunday of each month on the covered patio in the back of the building. Following worship will be available box lunches and tours of the new site. Safe-Sanctuary childcare will be available during services starting September 12, when monthly services change to weekly.
