Relaunching Dinner Church

Western NC Conference Fresh Expressions invites you and your family to join us for a time of food, fun, and inspiration! August 13th through August 15th you have three opportunities to join us across the conference for a meal, an inspiring message from two special guests, and time to play in the water at Camp! Our guest speakers include Kendall Vanderslice, author of We Will Feast, and Verlon Fosner, Director of the Dinner Church Collective. Every church will receive some free books and at least 25 pounds of local beef for your dinner church or community meal donated by My Father's Cows.

August 13th: Mount Shepherd Retreat Center (1045 Mount Shepherd Rd Ext, Asheboro, NC)

5:30-6:15pm Hot dogs and hamburgers at the picnic shelter
6:15-7:00pm An inspiring word from our special guests
7:00-8:00pm Time to play at camp (zip line, water slide, boats, and paddle boards)

August 14th: Camp Tekoa Foothills (258 Hull Rd, Casar, NC, 30 minutes from Shelby, Hickory, and Lincolnton)

12:00-1:00pm Hot dogs and hamburgers at the picnic shelter
1:00-1:45pm An inspiring word from our special guests
1:45-4:00pm Time to play at camp (swimming pool, zipline, boats)

August 15th Lake Junaluska (The White Tent between Stuart and Harrell, 91 N Lakeshore Dr, Waynesville, NC)

1:30-2:30pm Boxed lunches at the white tent
2:30-3:15 An inspiring word from our special guests
3:15-5:00pm Time to play at the lake (swimming pool, mini-golf, boats)
