Continuing the Conversation: Embracing the Power of Welcome?
(Registration ends tomorrow!) An opportunity for pastors from the North Carolina and Western North Carolina Conferences of the United Methodist Church to join with Duke Divinity School and The Duke Endowment to explore how congregations and their leaders can foster fruitful dialogue and civil conversation across human divides that permeate our communities and civic life.

Applications for consideration in our second quarter grant cycle are due April 30. Submissions can be made here.

Just Mercy Book Group
Rob Parsons will be starting a book group for discussion surrounding Bryan Stevenson's Book, Just Mercy in conjunction with his visit to UNCA on April 25th. If you are interested in being a part of this conversation, email rparsons@wnccumc.org.

Support Groups
If your congregation hosts or takes part in a support group that is open to the community at large, please let us know! We would like to start putting together a resource page on the Blue Ridge District website. Please email Shonnie at sstreder@wnccumc.org with a short description including group name, location, date, & time.

Recognition of Anniversary Churches
The WNC Conference Commission on Archives and History will recognize all churches celebrating their 100th, 150th, and 200th anniversaries in 2019 with their display at Annual Conference. If your congregation is celebrating one of these anniversaries, please contact Jim Pyatt, Archivist, at jpyatt@wnccumc.org by April 1.
