Help & Hope Dementia Support Group
Co-led by Trinity UMC members Vernon & Joyce Robinson, will begin meeting bi-weekly on Mon., January 7, at 6 PM in the Trinity church Library. This gathering is for individuals, family members and caregivers as they deal with this disease, providing a supportive environment and basic coping and life skills as loved ones move through the stages of this disease. This ministry’s goal is to provide a social (not clinical) setting to the community through which the group gives witness, shares struggles, and provides support as a means of hope and God’s presence through one another. The church's street address is 587 Haywood Road in West Asheville, 28806. Free parking and easy access to the church is available behind the church off of Balm Grove Avenue. For questions please call the Church Office, 828-253-5471 or the Robinsons' cell, 803-942-0487.
