Assistant to the Bishop, Rev. Amy Coles
Next, Western North Carolina Conference Assistant to the Bishop, Rev. Amy Coles will share information about General Conference 2020. This video was filmed during the District Conference of the Smoky Mountain District, but reflects information Amy was wishing to share with the Blue Ridge District as well. The video is in two parts - both can be accessed below:
Our hope at the conference was to provide you with short experiences of two methods of conducting Holy Conversations. The following are links to several methods for you to review:
Below are leaders who have been trained to facilitate and train in these different methods, as well as links to contact them (by clicking their name) in case you would like to request more information on a certain method.
Other resources - Central UMC in Asheville has also conducted Holy Conversations by scheduling in-home visits for groups over a 12 week period. If you would like to hear more about this method, contact Luke Lingle.
Over the next several weeks, we will be planning online webinars to share more information about these methods for Holy Conversation. If you would like to hear more about these webinars, please fill out this quick survey to let us know which methods you are interested in knowing more about.
Please check back here regularly for updated resources and videos which will be posted as they are made available.
